SUPPORT OUR SCHOOLS & STUDENTS
On March 18th, Chatham County citizens will have the opportunity to renew E-SPLOST to support our schools and students.
E-SPLOST is an existing one penny (1%) sales tax that has been in place since 2006 and helps keep our property taxes low.
Renewing the existing sales tax will pay for improvements to our schools all across Chatham County.
More than 40% of these funds come from visitors to our community!
This critical education funding will:

Upgrade and improve school security to protect our students

Improve our school buildings and athletic facilities

Add over $705 million to grow our local economy

Address rapid growth in western Chatham County

Create good paying local jobs
